Corruption is one of the major problem in both the developing and also developed countries. All of us would be familiar with the 2g scam and the common wealth scam in our country. But lot of corruptions are occurring in the village side. Normally bribe will be given for doing any illegal activities. But in this case it is totally different. The village people have given bribe of Rs 471,00,00,000 for getting their basic needs like ration cards, medical, educatioal and water facilities. This survey was conducted by Indian vigilance in 12 states totally. In Maharastra and Chattisgarh each family has given Rs 164 for getting their basic needs. The monthly income of these people is not more than Rs5000. The bribe money for getting ration card application is Rs 5, for getting ration card without any documents for below poverty line people is Rs 800. Chattisgarh and Bihar are the top state in the corruption in India. Giving bribe is increased four times from 2005. The condition in village is going more worse.
